LUVE has been part of an important project, a power generation facility realized by our partner BPOWER, a company specialized in the energy, gas, and energy efficiency sector, on the island of Pohnpei, a small volcanic island in the Pacific, part of the Senyavin archipelago, one of the four Federated States of Micronesia.

The project harnesses waste heat from the generators through the use of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) units for additional energy production, without any increase in fuel consumption.

This project represents a milestone in Micronesia for the successful installation of an ORC system that utilizes waste heat from the installed diesel generators. It also addresses all challenges related to delivery and commissioning, considering the location of Pohnpei, the climatic conditions, and the logistics of the island.
