LU-VE Group: 25 years as a Leader
October 10, 2011

LU-VE Group celebrates its first 25 years in 2011.
The Group has roots going back to Contardo SpA (1928), and has always been a synthesis of experience, tradition and a permanent striving towards the future and innovation in the heat exchanger sector.
The philosophy of LU-VE is the application of the principle that companies are first and foremost men, women and ideas.
In its 25th anniversary year, LU-VE Group (LU-VE SpA, LU-VE (Changshu) Ltd, HTS, SEST SpA, SEST LU-VE POLSKA, OOO SEST LU-VE Russia, TECNAIR LB) benefits from its 7 production facilities in 5 different countries across the world and its network of sales offices in Australia, Austria, China, Costa Rica, UAE, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Poland, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, Russia, Singapore and Spain.
The Group has marked its 25th anniversary by strengthening its production capacity and competitiveness throughout the world.
LU-VE Heat Exchangers (Changshu) Ltd, China, a new production company, was inaugurated on the 9th of April of this year. From its strategically-placed base to the north-west of Shanghai, it serves the markets of China, Southeast Asia and the Australia/Pacific area.
The 18th of October on the other hand will see the inauguration of the new wing of the production facility of “OOO SEST LU-VE” Russia. This plant at Lipetsk, 400 km south of Moscow, inaugurated in 2007 and expanded in 2009, enables greater penetration of the market in an ever-growing sector. Thus SEST consolidates its own European leadership in the sector of static evaporators for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.
After opening new sales offices at the end of 2010 in Hong Kong/Singapore (LU-VE Asia Pacific HK Ltd.) and Dubai (LU-VE Middle East), in February 2011 LU-VE Group activated two more representative offices: LU-VE India, the new sales centre based in New Dehli dedicated to a country and a market which is growing strongly; and LU-VE Austria in Vienna, which will be on the spot to look after both the air conditioning sector and also commercial and industrial refrigeration in the area.
LU-VE Group in June 2011 the prestigious certification UNI CEI EN 16001: 2009 “Energy Management Systems”. The certificate covers the design, construction and testing of heat exchangers for air conditioning and refrigeration, the processes of braze-welding, cleaning and painting carried out in-house and by external sub-contractors and the self-generation of electrical energy using photovoltaic panels.
Finally, emphasizing its position at the leading edge of research and development, the LU-VE Group presented two papers at the “23rd International Congress of Refrigeration” held last August in Prague (Czech Republic) entitled “ Air cooled heat exchangers for CO2 refrigeration cycles” and “New finned heat exchangers with low refrigerant charge.”
