Sustainability
An advanced, improved, balanced, better-informed world
We believe sustainability is not a statement. It is a daily commitment - to act responsibly, innovate with purpose and create measurable results. Since 1986, we have worked to make our environment better through modern and innovative products.
We call it shaping responsibility.
How we can contribute to people and communities though our business:
our Impact Areas
Climate Well-being
The demand for air conditioning is growing globally. Urbanization and population growth drive this change.
Our Goal
Our goal is to improve indoor comfort minimizing the contribution to climate change. We design systems that enhance well-being, performance and energy efficiency, shaping environment for people and communities.
Food Safety
Three billion people still lack access to safe and healthy food. A sustainable cold chain is essential to preserve, distribute and secure food worldwide.
Our Contribute
We contribute by developing advanced refrigeration technologies that ensure food safety, reduce waste and support global access to nutrition.
Digital Transformation
Digital progress depends on efficient and responsible data centers.
Our Support
We support the digital transformation by designing cooling systems that optimize energy use and improve operational performance.
Innovation and efficiency shape the backbone of a more sustainable digital world.
Energy Efficiency
Cooling and air conditioning consume around 15% of global electricity.
Our Commitment
We work to reduce this impact through continuous innovation and advanced technology. Improving efficiency means reducing emissions for a livable world for people and helping businesses to be competitive and responsible.

Our Climate Action
To reduce its impact on the climate and on people’s lives, LUVE has set specific emission reduction targets.
In the Sustainability Plan 2023–2025, approved by the Parent Company’s Board of Directors in February 2023, LUVE defined targets to reduce emissions related to the use of fossil fuels (so-called Scope 1 emissions) for production processes and heating, as well as emissions related to electricity consumption (so-called Scope 2 emissions), using 2022 as the baseline year.
In addition to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, LUVE generates emissions along its entire value chain, both upstream and downstream, known as Scope 3 emissions. LUVE is committed to developing a structured transition plan aimed at reducing Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by the end of 2026.
Our Responsible Procurement
The Group's main suppliers include companies that process copper, aluminium, steel and iron, and
manufacturers of motor fans. In this context, the Code of Ethics and the General Purchasing Conditions formalise the behavioural principles that guide the Group's activities and the ethical principles and rules of conduct, also relevant in the context of relations with suppliers and business partners.
With the aim of increase control over the supply chain, the LUVE has defined the specific targets in the Sustainability Plan: i) increase the number of audits on suppliers (15 audits by the end of 2025; ii) increase the percentage of relevant suppliers that have signed the Supplier Form, that requires compliance to regulation on environmental, working condition and human rights (target: >71% by 2025).
