The new production facility LU-VE Heat Exchangers (Changshu) Ltd, China, was inaugurated on April 9th to coincide with the China Refrigeration Expo 2011.
During the ceremony – in the presence of the Shanghai Italian Consul, Francesco Varriale, the most important local authorities and over 150 international guests – LU-VE presented the new Changshu factory, the first one of the Group in Asia.
The structure is in the strategic area of Jiangsu province, north-west of Shanghai and has been operative since January of this year; it is aimed at serving the markets of China, South-east Asia (India, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam etc.) and the Australia/Pacific area. With this new presence in the area, LU-VE is also reinforcing the historical partnership with Shanghai Century Equipment Co. Ltd, a relationship which has been active since the end of the 1960s.
The Changshu plant (a state-of-the-art factory with a covered area of over 7,000 square metres) will produce models in the FHC family: the FHC 27, 30 and 35 for commercial refrigeration and the FHC 40 and 50 for industrial refrigeration. The factory has a production capacity of 12,000 units per year.
