LUVE has supplied propane-based air heat collectors for a growing portfolio of heat pump installations across Denmark, supporting the country’s strong commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient heating solutions.
Propane (R290), with its GWP of only 3, is a cornerstone of Europe’s F-Gas phase-down strategy, offering superior thermodynamic performance and guaranteed availability as a naturally derived hydrocarbon produced across all EU refineries.
The first installations were completed in summer 2024, with additional systems delivered and scheduled through 2025 and 2026. These installations are part of broader heat pump plants project serving district heating and energy infrastructure, where reliability, acoustic performance and operational stability are key requirements.
A representative reference is the Hunderup-Sejstrup project, developed in collaboration with Solid Energy.
